Hello
We have returned from the 7 days safari trip from Chobe - Savuti to Maun and wanted to tell you about our experience. We have travelled all over the world for over 30 years and this experience was among the very top for us. The reason was our experienced and skilled safari staff. KB was wonderful. He kept us well fed despite several hard rains. KB ensured that our possess were safe at the camp and treated us very kindly and professionally. |

The game was tremendous, and in particular the second and third nights at Zwei Zwei, where we spotted a leopard with a fresh kill in a tree very near the campsite, and got great pictures. Also saw a huge herd of Elephants, Buffalo, lions with a young cub, and many zebra and giraffe. The birdlife was also stunning, and Tess, my wife, spotted several new species for her book. I can only thank you very much for having arranged it, and the Guys for their hard work and great cooking.
It was far beyond our expectations, and we both had the trip of a lifetime. We have started saving for the next trip, and will be in touch as soon as we have gathered our pennies!
Thanks again

Hi Karen,
this is to follow up the wonderful trip we had with the Audi Camp staff in Kalahari and Moremi/Chobe.
The suggestions you gave on planning the different stages of the trip perfectly fit with our expectations.
In particular:
Audi Camp: housing and food were perfect. Personnel very reliable and friendly.
Guide/driver and cook : really reliable, professional, helpful and reassuring. After 9 days spent together, we were very sad at the moment of farewells. Also thanks to them we really appreciate Botswana and its beauties.
As a conclusion we can tell you that we are completely satisfied with our trip to Botswana with Audi camp and we will for sure suggest Audi camp to our friends.
Thanks a lot again for your assistance.
Ciao,

We had a very good safari! Every day was a "lucky" day!! The game viewing
flight at start of trip revealed a rare siting of a Rhinoceros (from 500
feet above trees), and after finding lion & leopard on day 2 we had the "big 5" in Botswana. Weather was perfect with widely scattered
thunderstorms that we were able to drive around and miss. No dust and
comfortable mostly sunny weather made this trip amazing. We found a pack of
wild dogs just after a kill!!! The river boat revealed an abundance of bird
and wildlife - fantastic. Bush Tracks saved the day in Zambia when the
immigration officer tried to tell us that our single entry visas were not
proper but driver argued on our behalf and resolved the issue -
brilliant!!.
Thanks so very much for the hours of organization you did to help make this
trip such a success!! We are now sorting though 70 GB of photographs many
of which award winning with all the green grass and trees in background. My
sister and niece who had never been to Africa before were simply amazed
every second!!:)
Thanks!!!

Dear Melissa,
On behalf of our group of 6, I would like to thank you and your staff for the wonderful time we spent at Audi camp during our trip to Moremi. It was wonderful to camp with electricity and hot water after our bundu bashing! Many thanks as well for looking after our vehicle whilst we were away.
The swimming pool, pub and restaurant were a big hit. It was great to relax in such surroudings.

Hello Melissa,
Just to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and to thank you for the arrangements which all went exactly to plan. Our ranger and cook, Anton and Abie, were really good guys and made the Moremi drive/camp interesting and really looked after us. The animal and bird sightings were special. The time at Camp Audi was most relaxing and the staff were friendly. The fly in to Nguma Lodge added a different dimension to the experience, seeing all that water from the air. The lodge is comfortable and picturesque, if somewhat of a mosquito den, with the tents on stilts above the water. There was a very sociable group which got on well at the bar at night! As we had most able polers we were never at risk of falling out of the makoro. The animal and bird spotting was quite limited in this area possibly due to the season and/or high water levels. Even the weather was excellent until the thunderstorm on Friday night which was our last night! We really hope to be back sometime to explore more in the Moremi/Savuti area.
Thanks again and kind regards.

Private Mobile Safari April 2007
Dear Melissa,
We have been back at home since three days. Our journey to Italy was smooth and without any particular problem (oops, I forgot Barbara's bag which had been lost in the appalling chaos of Johannesburg airport, but has already arrived at its right destination). But our nostalgia for the days in Botswana is here to stay for a long time, we think. This is the reason why we want to thank again all of you at Audi Camp for your efforts in making our holidays so wonderful and captivating. In particular we owe some special thanks to you, to your husband, to Ron and to all the people who assisted us during our two safaris. Finally we feel very honoured to have enjoyed Mrs Anne's exquisite hospitality during our days in Moremi.
Hoping to come and visit you again as soon as possible we send you our best regards.

Moremi Safari September 2007
Hi Melissa,
Arthur Caplan here. We made it safe and sound back to Gaborone. Just wanted to let you know again how much we enjoyed our trip into Moremi. We really got along well with our two guides – Relax and Abidile. I think they had a good time with us as well.
School Trip October 2007
Dear Ron and fellow colleagues,
This is a short note to thank you all for the wonderful reception and service we received from Audi Camp. I am so grateful that we could achieve all of our objectives ... and much more. From the Okavango fly-over (with brilliant discounts negotiated), to the Lake Ngami Trip (with excellent guides!), to the over 2-hour barge trip and swim, then playing pool, alternated with the Maun Wildlife Sanctuary Walk... and, of course, our actual stay at the Audi Camp itself with the swimming pool, the colddrink bar and other amenities being available ...
Please give our sincere thanks to Helen who made the initial idea practicable and achievable. She was really a vital link at a crucial time in the exploratory phase of our planning. I shall personally contact Johan, the voluntary pilot who took us on the Wildlife Sanctuary Tour, for his input and recent sending of interesting data re. the walk we went on.
We shall stay in contact with management regarding our future trips to Maun.
Thanking you once again!
Regards

Moremi-Chobe Safari, August 2007
Dear Anne
I am just writing to thank you so much for an absolutely incredible safari which really suited us all so much. You will have gathered that all 28 (or was it 29?) of us enjoyed it enormously, and it was all just so 'right' for us. You may have known from Margit that there was lot of initial debate about all this - some wanted something much more luxurious, a few like us were probably initially horrified at the idea of an organised safari at all!!!!! In the end it was just the right balance and a great experience for everyone - from those hardened individuals who used to hunt to those in Africa for the first time.
On a terribly selfish note I have to add that I thought the food was fantastic and really looked forward to every single meal!!!! I had no idea it was going to be anything like that - I suppose I had thought in terms of baked beans and sausages each night, and probably running out towards the end!! The birthday cakes, fresh fruit and veg, the new menu every day - all just incredible.
We also really liked your Audi Camp - I could happily have spent another couple of days there just reading, sitting by the pool with tea and coffee, and looking forward to the next meal. Another time we might even be tempted by one of your tents rather than our own!
So, thank you so much again - I am writing on behalf of Anne as well who is currently in Mozambique and then Madagascar, and wont be eating nearly so well now!
Very best wishes and good luck for the future
